What is a charity challenge? First and foremost it’s a commitment to fundraise for a charity that’s important to you. For those of you that have fundraised previously you’ll understand that it takes good organisation and time management skills and at times it can be hard work. You’ll also appreciate the immense sense of satisfaction that comes with reaching your target and knowing that the funds you have raised will help your chosen charity.
Charity challenge takes fundraising to the next level in that it provides the added incentive for you to reach and possibly go beyond your target. An adventure travel challenge is your incentive. And within that incentive lies yet another challenge. Your challenge could be reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, trekking to Everest Base Camp, walking through sections of the Grand Canyon, trekking along Australia’s iconic Larapinta Trail or walking remote sections of the Great Wall of China. The world is truly your oyster!
The rigours of training and the challenge of the adventure will serve to remind you of the hardships faced by the beneficiaries of your charity.
When you register on a charity challenge you will join a small group of like-minded fundraisers who all aim to support the same charity as you.
